graduation

So we got to go up to Logan for the graduation of Sean--the youngest.  And even though he still has 2 more classes to finish toward this degree, this was when he could walk and give us a chance to recognize him and his accomplishment.  School for Sean has been one of his least favorite things. College was the same. After he finished up his associates here at Salt Lake Comm. College, he had to move on to a bigger school and Utah State was a good choice. But he has had to battle through courses that were a struggle (mainly math) and he has had to switch majors, and he has not been motivated to finish up, trying to figure out how to just get away from the whole college experience--but--he finally did stick it out and he can finally say I've finished what I started.  College life hasn't been all bad though.  We were just thinking of all the good that has come from him getting away to Utah State and living with roommates.  The first year he roomed with Clay and Kevin Moultrie. These brothers have since been a big part of Sean's life.  Clay was quite the inventor, and it has been his ideas that have created the business that is going gangbusters and where Sean is working at present as the manager. Kevin was probably the one who got him the job with the computer repair business wherein he received so much knowledge about computer repair, etc.  They were also the ones that gave him the push to get involved with the military (something that was always waiting to come out).  And I believe that the military has been the final push for Sean to complete his degree.  With that he can become an officer.  So all the various experiences and connections he has had in Logan have paid off in his life.  It is amazing to see how lives cross and connections are made that set the course  for the rest of our lives.  Anyway--proud of Sean.  Way to go!
